Reception dress, three-piece light blue silk taffeta with gold cord trim on bodice and sleeves, pearl buttons. Cage crinoline underskirt, which relieved women of the weight from multiple layers of petticoats that were previously used to achieve a desirable fashion profile. (c. 1867)

Trousseau Hat Natural wired straw, with matching ribbons.

Donor − Mrs. R. O. White. Worn on a honeymoon in Paris by her relative.

Parasol − White silk taffeta with exquisite carved ivory handle.
